After decades of studying, planning, dreaming, collecting, and admiring all things Parisian, I am taking the trip of my life.  Imagining myself relocated to become a 21st century resident of the ancient city, I will immerse myself in the sights and smells, the gardens and museums, the bakeries and bistros, the music and quiet sounds, the morning light and the night stars that frame Paris.  While there for 19 wondrous days, I will search for its heart and hope to learn its rhythmic beat to bring home with me.  This blog is a meditation, a prayer, a song to witness my experience and perchance, my metamorphosis.  Many thanks to you for being a part of this exploration – you will be there with me.
